Adrian Ossenkop is a lighting designer interested in theatre that invites collaboration, challenges norms, and engages directly with audiences.

Adrian is President of UNO Students in Theatre, Art, Growth, and Engagement (STAGE), which offers professional growth opportunities, hands-on workshops, and community engagement initiatives to students.

Adrian has attended USITT as a conference assistant in 2024 and 2025. He was a 2026 USITT Student Ambassador under mentor, director, and interdisciplinary artist Chou Tung-Yen.

Outside of theatre, Adrian is dedicated to the accessibility of education, holistic wellbeing, and an advocate for mentorship. Serving as a MavMentor at the University of Nebraska Omaha for three years, he has used his skills in advancing the operations of the Maverick Food Pantry, Durango’s Advancement and Support Hub, the College of Communication, Fine Arts, and Media, and UNO Marketing and Communications.

In fall 2026, Adrian is a TA and mentor for a seminar group of twenty first-year students while representing UNO as a Maverick Ambassador for UNO MarComm, creating social media content for students by students.
